Tell your MP: Violence against women and girls is a red line
Women and girls are being targeted with horrific violence in Gaza. Approximately one Palestinian woman is killed every hour in Gaza through direct bombardment by the Israeli military.
Women and girls are facing compounding threats including starvation, gender-based violence and the denial of their sexual and reproductive rights.
The destruction of Gaza’s health system is catastrophic. Women are being forced to give birth in unsafe conditions, under bombardment, and without medical assistance.
Women and girls are dying from complications related to pregnancy and childbirth. A recent UN report concludes that this systematic destruction of sexual and reproductive healthcare facilities amounts to an act of genocide.
At the same time, due to the blockade of desperately needed supplies, Gaza is facing a human-made famine.
Together, we will use our voice to demand action on the same day every week. Until those in power act, we will not stop.
